INFORMATION:

***This is an interactive role-playing game (not a show), where YOU will be the ones to unfold the story!

***Characters will be assigned on Sunday the 9th of February. Book early so that you will have time to prepare your character!

***The event will be held in English and Greek. You need a basic level of English to be able to read the instructions and understand the hints.

WHAT IT IS:

This murder mystery dinner party is an interactive game where guests take on roles in a fictional murder case and work together to solve the crime—all while enjoying their dinner. It's like stepping into a live-action detective story!
The perfect role-playing game to mingle, make new friends, and keep you on your toes all evening!

HOW IT WORKS:

1. The Theme & Setting: We are in the 70’s and Alar becomes for one night “Alar – The House of Groove” for its annual Disco Fever Competition (read the synopsis below).

2. Character Assignment: After your reservation and before the event, you will receive your character* role with your background story, personality, and secret objectives. You will also receive suggestions for costumes and accessories to wear. Nothing is compulsory but the more creative you are, the more fun it is.
* Upon reservation you will be requested to fill in a short questionnaire in order for us to assign the best character for you.

3. The Murder Happens: The famous disco competition will take place, where you can show off your groovy moves (optional). At some point during the night, a “murder” takes place. One of the guests is the Victim and another guest is the Murderer, but no one knows who!

4. Gathering Clues & Solving the Mystery: Throughout the dinner, guests interact, share information, and uncover hidden clues. Some might have secrets, alibis, or even be suspects themselves.

5. The Big Reveal: After everyone has made their accusations, the murderer is finally revealed, and the mystery is solved! Who solves the case wins a prize.

Wearing a costume or dancing is completely optional, but it makes the experience even more fun! Everyone is encouraged to get familiar with their character, impersonate it, and mingle with all the other characters. It is all about gossiping, sharing clues and secrets. The more you stay in character, the more fun it is. The more you talk to and question the other players, the more information you gather to help you discover whodunit!

ALAR House of Groove is gearing up for its annual Disco Fever Competition, and the excitement is in full swing! Dancers from all around are set to flock to this iconic hotspot, ready to showcase their moves alongside the rich and famous. You've spent the past year perfecting your groovy routines, and now it’s your chance to dazzle the judges and steal the spotlight in your flashiest disco attire.

But not everything is as smooth as the dance floor. Partnerships are crumbling, rivalries are heating up, and scandals are making headlines. Despite the chaos, the club will draw an impressive crowd. You’re crossing your fingers (and toes!) that the drama doesn’t ruin your shot at disco glory.

The stage is set, the music is pumping, and you’re ready to boogie. This is where your story begins!
